Creative grown-up strategies to educate youthful audiences

We took an existing set of patient materials which was aimed at both very young children and teenagers, repositioning and separating them to better suit each audience. First, we reviewed the content, tailoring it for both patient groups and developed tailored packs suited to each.

The version aimed at younger children included a set of stickers to encourage the children to engage with the material, it also included a height chart to measure their progress with characters to follow along their treatment journey.

The teenage pack utilised a design style more engaging to the age group, with more in-depth information and patient stories selected for that patient group.

Both packs included booklets written specifically for parents/carers which could be easily removed and digital versions of the resources contained within a handy business card style USB

This is what we delivered:

  • Patient support programme
  • Name generation
  • Programme identity
  • Patient support pack
  • Patient website
